CEEG KERALA | CENTRE FOR EMPLOYMENT AND EDUCATIONAL GUIDANCE

CEEG has instigated by a group of professionals in 2008 to support and empower the youth to find livelihoods by reinforcing the education and skill. CEEG has been able to mark an active presence in the field of skill development in Kerala during its seventeen year career. Thousands of young people have gained expertise in a variety of occupations through training centers of CEEG in most districts of Kerala and have proven the beautiful path of survival. CEEG is in the process of developing a very large vocational training network through various colleges and expanding the existing vocational training systems to areas that do not address it.

The CEEG has garnered numerous accolades in its triumphant journey. This has been a great inspiration to the CEEG in its mission. CEEG has been accredited or affiliated by many Government Departments like National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), Directorate of Technical Education Government of Kerala , Kudumbashree Mission, Kerala Automobile Limited (A Public Limited Company under Govt. of Kerala ), etc…

CEEG is empanelled by Different State and Central Government departments for providing skill development training programmes like NULM, PMKVY, NABARD etc.. CEEG is also empanelled by Kerala Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency (KRWSA) for implementing rural water supply and sanitation schemes. Presently CEEG is actively involving in the project and supporting the schemes which are benefited to 12000 households for their drinking water handiness CEEG have partners with National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and various Sector Skill Councils under NSDC for providing fee based and Govt. sponsored skilling courses. CEEG have partnership with Automotive Skill Development Council (ASDC), Tourism and Hospitality Sector Skill Council (THSC), Electronics Sector Skills Council Of India (ESSCI), Health Care Sector Skill Council (HSSC), Management & Entrepreneurship and Professional Skill Council ( MEPSC) and Beauty and Wellness Sector Skill Council (BWSSC). CEEG could utilize the infrastructure facilities of Polytechnic Colleges and Arts & Science Colleges in the state of Kerala.

Strengthen scuffles of rural, poor and under privileged backward communities for their empowerment and subsistence by emerging livelihoods, education, health care, shelter, safe drinking water and sanitation, income generating facilities and social justice.

Enhance Employability Skills

Skill development has been considered one of the critical aspects for job creation in India. India has a unique demographic advantage with more than 60 % of the population is in young age group. The shortage of candidates with the right skills has many employers changing their strategies so they can re skill and up skill workers who are already on board. This approach requires having specific goals of each employee and understanding the skills that workers currently hold and the skills they will need to fill future roles. CEEG is modifying the training and development programs to ensure that employees have specific knowledge to fill the gaps. CEEG is creating an institutional platform that enables information, voice,assets and human resources of the poor to be aggregated, amplified and scaled up.
